A LABOR OF LOVE
At Vila Fortaleza the Santo Daime Sacrament is made the old fashion way. Truly, it's a labor of love. Here is Saturnino leading the opening session where some of the men mash the vines as the rest sing hymns in support.
The coordination of the maracá and the mallets and the voices is a realization of what might be called "establishing the current". It's a very beautiful moment when it all comes together and becomes incorporated with the sacrament. Very special indeed.
